Over the past decade, humanity has been immersed in a consumer society where everything is expected to happen quickly in our living environment. Consequently, there is often little attention given to what truly makes us happy.
In my work, I have sought out individuals who find joy in simple things. These people live somewhat detached from society, yet through my interactions with them, I have discovered that they are incredibly happy individuals. They exhibit less materialistic tendencies, yet they are among the wealthiest individuals in the world. They prioritize the essence of life, such as connecting with each other without an abundance of unnecessary possessions.
With my next, perhaps unnecessary, expensive purchase, I find myself pausing longer to reflect. How about you?
